The Greater Westside Board of Trade is seeking a new Executive Director.
West Kelowna, B.C. – The Greater Westside Board of Trade is saddened to announce that our Executive Director Karen Beaubier has tendered her resignation for an exciting new professional opportunity. Her last day with us will be Feb. 14, 2020.
On behalf of Board of Trade Members and the Board of Directors, we would like to thank Karen for her leadership, vision and hard work these past eight years and wish her well in her new role.
While the Westside is losing a valued community leader who dedicated years to her role, the Board of Directors is looking forward to what a new ED will bring to the role.
The Board is currently accepting applications for a new Executive Director, a paid full-time position.
The Executive Director will be responsible for the overall management of the organization including the implementation of the organization’s programs, services and events, including membership growth and retention; budgets, daily operations; community and public relations; responsible for the management of staff and volunteers.
The Executive Director acts as a liaison among members, the board of directors, government, stakeholders, community, staff and volunteers.
